Hang-on, Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

Here’s a couple of updates to help you stay connected…

Sunday school
Hope to see you tomorrow morning as we dig deeper into God’s Word. Sunday school takes place in room 226 at 9:00AM. We will look at what Hebrews says about faith and its role in a world of unseen realities.

Long Story Short
The much anticipated encore performance of Long Story Short starring Diane and Jeff Cater, Stephan Scappaticci, and Shelley Flint is scheduled for this Sunday night (November 23). Join us for a hilarious dramatic reenactment of the entire bible in just 60 minutes. It’s a great way to introduce people to the gospel story in a comfortable, non-threatening atmosphere.

Hiking Saturday
The plan is to leave the Church at 9:30am, Saturday (Nov. 29) and heading to the Hidden Springs Trail. Although it is only a one day hike and rated as “easy”, one attempting it should be ready for an adventurous hike. For those who feel up to the 5 mile challenge, the trip promises to be a memorable and worthwhile experience.
If you are planning on going:
1. Let me know: email / facebook, or talk to me in person by Wednesday.
2. Dress appropriately: comfortable shoes are a must. Be sure to layer clothing to avoid overheating and/or freezing.
3. Pack a hearty lunch, several snacks (trail mix, granola bars, etc.) and plenty of water (at least a liter).
4. Money for a meal on the road.
