Hope you are enjoying this wintery weather. Here’s the latest scoop:

You are asked to bring a 2 liter bottle of pop or a bag of chips. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by email, facebook, text message, or talk to me on Sunday.

PLEASE PRAY & WRITE – Two of the members of our College & Young Adult ministry, Kurtis Kile and Justin Smith, have left for basic training. If you would like to send either of them a letter of encouragement, you can send it to:

SPIRITUAL FORMATION RETREAT – We are partnering with Trevecca Nazarene University to provide a weekend at the Abbey of Gethsemani. The focus for the weekend is “Silence & Listening for the Voice of God”. The cost is $60 (includes 2 nights, 7 meals & transportation). Registration has already begun and spaces are filling quickly. You can register or find out more about this retreat by visiting: www.trevecca.edu/spiritualformation/retreat.

VOLUNTEERING AT THE RESCUE MISSION – We have recently started helping to serve the evening meal at the Rescue Mission on Monday nights (4:30 – 7pm). If you are interested in getting involved on a regular basis, please contact Pastor Ken.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – Our Series “Why do the best letters come from prison?” continues this Sunday morning, 9:00am in room 227. This week we will be exploring Paul’s encouragement to us to “shine like stars”. Plan to join us.

Grace and peace.
